07/07/11: Godbluff / Hunky Dory

1971. David Bowie – Hunky Dory. Played this quite recently but a feature in the latest Mojo made me want to hear it again. His best album by a long way. One great song after another.

1975. Van Der Graaf Generator – Godbluff. 'Arrow' sounds so angry, it's scary. 'The Undercover Man' is very moving. What a great group. (As yesterday, another Fall connection: the Godbluff sleeve was clearly an influence on The Fall's Fall Heads Roll album.)
